NOTHING has been done in over 20 months to rebuild the Gulf State Park Pier  Image

I guess thay must be waiting for all the lawsuits over the rebuilding of the Gulf State Park Resort to be resolved before they put out the bids and start rebuilding any of the park.
We were in Orange Beach last week and there are still quite a few damaged structures. And most of the piers along Perdido Pass and Cotton Bayou still look like skeletons. But the condos, restauarants, and deep sea fishing charters are going gangbusters! It looks a LOT better than it did last summer, but there's still a little more to go.
