Is it technologically possible to create High Pressure?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Dropping nukes into hurricanes is probably the stupidest idea ever. Good example - a typhoon that recurved in the WPAC in 1992 lead to the formation of a historic noreaster that caused enormous devastation. Imagine if we loaded that storm system with radioactive substances...

For the question of the thread, it depends on the size of the area of high pressure, of course. Can we create High Pressure? Yeah. Across the Atlantic? Most certainly not.

Awesome. And what if we also loaded that storm system with the Ebola Virus and terrorists? And werewolves. Kick ass.

a nuke creates massive amounts of heat, if anything it will turn it into a 500mph monster.
