Is this a bit unusual......

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

We have Dvork listing 94L, though it's not yet on the NRL site:

26/1745 UTC 10.9N 45.0W TOO WEAK 94L -- Atlantic Ocean

I think i understand this...both lows are associated with the same wave, but really theyre 2 different LLC's that are trying to pull away from one another...it sounds kinda dumb to me to regard this as one system,IMO, so Im gonna have to side with Dvorak on this one.

NRL is a US Navy maintained site. So depending on the orders or interests of the Navy, certain Invests, remants of storms, etc. may or may not be posted quickly (or not at all if it does not pertain to their interests). So yes, NHC has an interest in what is now Invest 94L.

The Navy is probably to busy trying to investigate why 2 of their jet aircraft collided in mid air today with a fatality.. ie...weather related etc....

It appears that they were initially going to make a second invest in the area of 93L to cover the top part of that tropical wave but they decided to drop the southern swirl and go with the mid-level circulation between 10N-11N and call it 93L.
