This is from the PR NWS:
AT LOWER LEVELS...A WEAK WAVE SOUTH OF THE AREA WILL CONTINUE WEST
FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER WAVE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. DRIER AIR IS
EXPECTED TO INVADE THE AREA ON TUESDAY...WITH ANOTHER WAVE ON ITS
COATTAILS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. THIS ALL FOLLOWED
BY ANOTHER WAVE FRIDAY.
I found this alittle funny.

Looks like Puerto Rico is going to get tropical waves every other day. The whole reason why I'm even bringing this up is because I think our pattern is changing and these waves will affect the SE US eventually since the Bermuda high is expected to build back in after Sunday after this trough lifts out NE.

I agree with you... I think this late season trough is going aid in changing the pattern. As the trough pulls out we'll see high pressure build in and we will see more tropical waves moving father north. As they do this time of year... With a positive mjo phase in the atlantic and sal/dry air in the mid levels in the eastern atlantic the focus will be in the western/north wester caribbean and the gulf of mexico as it was for most of last year. Although I do see possibbly a system or 2 forming this year in the Bahamas. I think as we move into August is when we are just going to see the tropics explode - as we'll see less shear, climatologically speaking.
