Dvarok Classification Too Weak on Invest 92

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Sun Jun 15, 2003 1:12 pm

DATE/TIME-------LAT----LON----CLASSIFICATION----STORM
15/1145 UTC----14.8N--81.5W-----TOO WEAK-----------90
15/0545 UTC----14.7N--80.5W-----TOO WEAK-----------90
14/1745 UTC----13.0N--80.0W-----TOO WEAK-----------90

Classifications remain too weak for Dvorak Techniques, furthermore latest satellite imagery do not suggest any apparent surface circulation...in fact, the winds below Invest 92 are SE to NW with E to W on the western flank ...

Latest QuikScat Passes also confirm there's no surface circulation in the vicinity of the Invest at this time ...
