Ernesto's Musical Names

One thing Ernesto has taught/reminded all of us is that almost anything can happen with these tropical cyclones and nothing is set in stone.

Who would've thought that with the first hurricane of 2006, that in a span of 4 days we'd see realistic track comparisons to the following storms:

Emily, Bret, Rita, Katrina, Dennis, Charley, and Ophelia??

I'm still shaking my head in awe...

Last year we learned to expect the unexpected in regards to intensity, it seems this year we have to learn to expect the unexpected in regards to track. :idea:

Excuse my ignorance... but which Bret? I can only remember the Brets that formed in the GOM.

Bret 1999. Not the entire track but the landfall location in Kenedy County.
