I would have agreed with you on that statement last year at this point too when it seemed that the GOM was probably done (well except for Katrina which was at that moment heading for N.O.). However, a few weeks later Rita was barreling toward the area. Based on that, there is no way I am writing this season off until after mid October.Portastorm wrote:"Home brew in the Gulf" ... ha!
You have to be DRINKING home brew to think we're going to see any tropical system activity west of 95.![]()
This year is the East Coast's season.
For the next few days though there seems to be nothing to worry about, so the cold fronts will become my main focus. Can't wait until that humidity lowers for a few days!
