Cool maps, I like they way they draw the categories. But I don't see where they show each storms name. I am curious to know some of the storms names I am seeing. Thanks for the link.

The "most costliest" category doesn't seem to have Wilma, which should be #3 with $16.8 billion in the US, $24 billion overall.

Just scroll your mouse over the storm track and the name lights up down below the map...

Great site. I especially liked the Cat1-5 damage animation.

It's too bad it only goes up to 2004, except for where they added Katrina to the costliest and deadliest storms list, but that's something not even the NHC has managed to update yet. :roll:

Great maps!! Anyone notice the correlation of number hurricanes in years following "big" years?...Interesting!

Awesome maps. I like the way they make the lines much thicker and bolder for the stronger storms.

When clicking through the decades, one contrast jumped out at me. Click on the 1910's and notice the disparity in activity between the Gulf and the Atlantic. Then click on the 1950's and look again.
