The fact that TWO even mentions this area is somewhat significant...if NHC was totally unconcerned, I doubt they would have even mentioned it.

Steve Lyons just mentioned the area and described a "low level circulation" just on the coast...says upper level winds are unfavorable but we need to "watch it" over the next few days.

Interestnig looking at the 00Z GFDL. See how the entire state of Florida and Eastern Gulf is covered by moisture. If I'm reading right it looks like they are showing a TD by end run.

No, thats just wind speed over the area.
The smaller box to the side is TD 9
