from 8pm:
A western Caribbean Sea tropical wave is along 84w south of 22n moving west near 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection is affecting Nicaragua...Honduras...and the NW Caribbean from 11n-21n between 81w-86w.

I had a feeling that was a tropical wave down there.

yeah and its interacting with a washed out front just to the north. Its these kind of situations that South Florida really needs to watch as the NW Caribbean is a notorios breeding ground for landfalling South Florida hits in October.

Keep your eyes on the NW Caribbean....
