Real quiet in here...

Seems to be pretty quiiet, especially considering the season starts in 1.5 months. Things should pickup next month I would imagine. :)

Not only the activity in the Atlantic, but also the rest of the world has been real quiet over the past few weeks allowing people to concentrate more on the winter-like weather around the US.

We're here (or at least some are) and Luis is exactly right...trying to live our other lives (and it is always amazing that after the season is over, I actually have one beyond weather - even though there are some people who insist they won't do without their dose of *what is going on around there* via other forums I write on) without being glued to the screen until it starts up again... 8-) I, for one, can wait.

BTW, could be a great poll asking when will be formed the first Invest in the Atlantic this year.

True the site will come alive when the first invest pops up!!

However, many people have underwent weird weather events for this time of year. For example, the nor'easter in the NE, snow, recent tormado outbreaks, flooding, etc. This weather is a bit wild to say the least. I just wonder how many members on this site have been affected and maybe this is one of the reasons it is a little quiet in here.

probably pretty quiet right now due to people tracking the recent severe weather and now the nor'easter (Basically what canetracker said). Once the current weather slows down though I would expect the tropical forum to become active again.

I'm sure when the first invest pops up this place will blow up, but in the meantime, we have to enjoy the peace and quiet. ;)
