Hurricane Hunter Aircraft to be on Display in Pensacola

Since it's not hurricane season yet, I am assuming that this is ok to put here.

Hurricane Hunter Aircraft to be on Display in Pensacola

The Escambia County Emergency Management Division, in cooperation with the National Weather Service, Mobile Alabama, with assistance from the United States Air Force, and the Pensacola Aviation Center has arranged for a C-130 Hurricane Hunter aircraft to be on display.

A Hurricane Hunter aircraft is essential to the gathering of information when a hurricane is threatening our area. Meet the crew and see the aircraft that dares to fly through the center of a hurricane.

The display will be at the Pensacola Aviation Center, located at 4145 Jerry L Maygarden Rd, next to the Pensacola Regional Airport. The display is scheduled for May 24 from 11 a.m. until
7 p.m. All adults must have a photo identification to be allowed in the display area.

This is a great learning opportunity for adults and children alike. For more information, please contact Dusty Clements, Escambia County Emergency Management, at (850) 471-6415.
