Sounds like a beautiful place to be--before, during and after the rain!

In my haste to post, get offline and shut down the computer, I didn't notice the thread's title was incomplete. The last word should have been "Thunder", of course. And loud it was - very LOUD!

This evening our local TV Met said we could expect this kind of weather to continue (on and off) for another 24 to 36 hrs. The stars are out and things are pretty quite right now but every once in a while there's distant lightning.

The rains are a welcomed relief from an unusually dry May.
