This is an awesome Hurricane Charley documentary I just found on Youtube. It is 30 minutes long and was made by a guy who was actually in Port Charlotte for the storm. It doesn't look like the guy's location was in the hardest hit (Cat. 4 force wind) area, but he probably did get pretty solid Cat. 2 force winds with higher gusts from the storm...he also then drives to some of the harder hit (Cat. 3+ wind) areas and the damage is much worse there (including well built structures almost completely destroyed by the wind alone). This video collection is a must see for those who lived in Florida during Charley or for those who like good hurricane/damage footage...
