I was just looking around the gulf where barry just a few weeks ago was, and since that short amount of time the ssts went from 77 to 80 and 81 in a few spots of the west coast of florida

Doesnt suprise me too much....due to the depth of the 26 C isotherm....it is quite deep in the Gulf Region....

actually not even weeks .. more like a week and half.. went from mid to upper 70 to low 80's
