I think I like it better than those fancy hurricane tracking software programs. For one thing, you put up on the wall where all can see (tends to provoke conversation). Another reason was that I really wasn't creating a permanent record. (You know with BP, windspeed, etc.. for storms as they moved across the ocean). If you got behind (especially if there were multiple storms), it could take quite awhile to enter all of the info into the computer. Perhaps there are programs that enter the info automatically from the advisories. I think that would be best.
