Hurricane Dean & Honeymoon in Jamaica

#1 Postby jewels5599 » Fri Aug 17, 2007 11:04 am

Hi guys... What is your input on how Jamaica is going to be 2 weeks after Dean goes through? :?: My fiance and I are getting married September 1, and have a trip to Breezes ~ (Runaway Bay in Jamaica) planned which we are flying to on September 2. Do you think they will have power and we will still be able to fly there? With it being a Cat 4 when it hits, it's a little scary. Any of your inputs will be appreciated! Thanks... :(

Jamaica seems to get very lucky with Hurricanes that usually seem to miss them when forecasted to hit the island.

Will this luck continue?
Don't know.

If you have the option of waiting out the next few days to see, I would; since they may continue their very good luck.

Congrats on the wedding!!!!!

I would change the destination. In two weeks Jamaica will still be recovering, not a paradise.

Good luck and congrats.
