I remember Hurricane Gilbert. My first weather event I remember and still do this very day. What a monster!

I miss John Hope and the old tune for the Tropical Update. I really started to become "obsessed" with tropical weather in 1994 when I was 8 years old. I remember tracking Alberto, Beryl and Gordon the most from that season.
