For Old Times Sake - Katrina's 111 Pager!!

that so many of us might remember quite well.

I also found what I believe is the last post that I made on Sunday night/Monday morning before the kaa kaa hit the fan:

After that, I didn't have an opportunity to post again until sometime in mid-September as we were without power and DSL until then. Interestingly, when the water started coming in, the very first thing I went after to try and save was my computer and modem. That is the only electronic device that survived the storm in my entire house, and I'm still using it today!! Everything else - stereo, TVs, washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, water heater, range, central A/C, and ALL my power tools bit the dust as soon as that salt water hit 'em.

It's amazing to see how fast the posts were coming in the above linked thread (around page 95 or so) early that Monday morning. I think entire pages were being created and superseded within about five or ten minutes - or maybe even less. What a time that was - and in many regards - still is.....

I thought the first couple of pages were interesting - kind of like we're looking at the current invest now. You just never know this far in advance.
