Henrriette could be knockin' at my door within the next 2 days!

For Wednesday night into Friday...the weather scenario remains
complicated. On Thursday models are now consistent in moving the
remains of Henriette into Arizona. The recent model trend has been
to move the center of the tropical storm circulation further west
and north across the area. This is critical because those locations
that come under the upslope south to southwest flow around the low
will see extremely heavy tropical style rainfall.
Locations that are
under the northeast to easterly flow will see little or no
precipitation due to drier low-level air from the Colorado plateau
and sinking motion as flow moves southward off the Mogollon Rim. For
now looks like the threat for heavy rain will be over the far
eastern Mogollon Rim into the White Mountains but this is subject to
some adjustment
.

I heard on the local news that Texas could get rain from Henriette too.

I have been reading local met reports and looks like precip will be confined to the SE quad of AZ with that strong ridge moving in from the West.

Whole state needs rain though. I hope current model bias is too far east and it goes up the Colorado....wishcast?

No chance it will go up the CO River though the incoming trough may interact with some moisture to produce boomers in western AZ. Based upon the current track, it's going to take some major dynamic interaction with the trough for any part of AZ to get rain from the remnant Low of Henriette.
