NHC too quick to name storms?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Posts like this are only going to invite NHC bashing and flaming, so I'm locking it. The NHC's job is to monitor tropical cyclones; it does not matter where they are or how long they exist, if they meet the definition of tropical or subtropical cyclones in their eye, they will track them. End of story, it's nothing beyond that.
