Thank god it's not 2006 at least.. god that season was definitely the worst in my memory.. even worse than '97

I was actually thankful for 2006, after what happened in 05 we really needed a quiet season to recover.

2006 wasn't that bad, sure it didn't have any landfalling hurricanes though Ernesto did come close did we had a couple of nice recurving major hurricanes to look at. It was a very average season thats true.

Was it 99 or 2000 when the storms were a bunch of recurves? I think there were 5 named storms at one time that year. One storm did threaten, but turned away just before it hit land. I am more than happy to watch fish storms and leave my generator in the garage.
