Of this decade barry was the second strongest "B" storm, at 60 knots and 990 millibars. This was in 2001.

1999 120 knots/946 millibars or 6 millibars lower then Bertha. This was Bret. http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/atl ... index.html

1998 100 knots/953 millibars slightly weaker then Bertha.

1996 100 knots/960 millibars the power house Bertha...Also 2008 Bertha looked better! Wish we had recon for it!

1995 50 knots/995 millibars

1994 50 knots/1000 millibars
http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/atl ... index.html

1993 50 knots/1002 millibars
http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/atl ... index.html

1992 95 knots/965 millibars

So only Bret is the only cyclone stronger then Bertha.

Yep Bret was a powerful category-4 hurricane, Bonnie 98 and Bertha 96 also weren't far off from the strength of Bertha.
