thanks frank, I see it is back up now. I hope it remains. They really have alot of problems with the Miami radar it seems. It always worries me it will go down with an approaching storm.

I guess i should have read the "radar status message"
I never clicked on the radar to enlarge once i saw the dreaded black w/red writing screen. But there is a link for radar status message.

THE LAKE CHARLES RADAR IS CURRENTLY DOWN. PROCESSOR NEEDS
REPLACEMENT. PART EXPECTED LATER TONIGHT OR SATURDAY. RADAR EXPECTED
TO BE UP SOMETIME ON SATURDAY. WILL GIVE ANOTHER UPDATE WHEN NEW
INFORMATION IS RELAYED TO US. 06
