That spin you're seeing in simply the cirrus blowoff from today's convection rotating anticyclonically around an upper level high (see http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/fax/QHQA17.TIF ). While it also has a well defined LLC (see the QS pass I posted earlier) it has a pretty tenuous future as conditions for further development are forecast to become increasingly hostile. From the coarse-res stuff I looked at here at home, it appeared the GFS was breaking down that small UL high pretty quickly after 24 hours.

It looks like this system south of Bermuda is drifting eastward.
