Hurricane Dolly landfall radar loop

#1 Postby RL3AO » Thu Jul 31, 2008 10:32 pm

This is a 12 hour loop using GRLevel3 starting at 7:02am CDT on July 23. Every frame is about 10 to 11 minutes apart.

This is the first time I've done something with this. Let me know your thoughts (if it works :D ).

Good stuff!

Anyway you can make it linkable or slow down the speed. Would like to use it for our post Dolly chase info.

Great loop RLA3O. What program or how did you use or how do you put it together to loop like that?
Is that part of the GRLevel3 program?

I wish it was that easy. In this case I saved every other frame from every 12 hours of data and then made a gif loop in GIMP. It took about 30 minutes to make the loop plus another 15 to download and unzip the archived radar data.
