I have a trip planned to Florida on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. I live east of houston in Deer Park. I have no problem going however I am concerned as to whether or not I will be able to get back on Sunday. Can everyone give me their input on what I should do.

Since you don't leave until Wednesday, I'd wait until tomorrow before soliciting advice and opinions on this. Maybe things will be more clear on path and landfall impact by later tomorrow?
Some friends of ours have vacation plans to South Padre, starting on Wednesday for a week. They are kind of on hold as well. What sucks for them is that they had to cancel when Dolly hit Padre earlier this season. Can you imagine that?
