What do you think would be the BIG one?
To me
1# A isabel/Katrina sized storm taking a track a few miles south of Miami Florida. Max winds of 150 knots...Isabel could of been it if it where to have droped south and had no trough. This storm would cost 100-200 billion dollars.
2# A cat3+ into Tampa bay, this city is very large and only a few feet above sea level. Another hundred billion dollar storm.
3# A cat5 making landfall just south of Houston Texas...Yes, no cat5 has ever hit the upper Texas coast in recorded history. But a few have come close like the 1900 hurricane. So it maybe possible. This is another 100-200 billion dollar storm.
4# cat4 hurricane into New orleans...This would be way worst then Katrina. This would pretty much turn new orleans into lake new orleans, I don't know if they could ever stop the water if this happened.
Discuse what you think is the BIG one???

I don't think many would think of the Jersey Coast, but believe it. Flat barrier islands packed to the rim with expensive property and people who don't know what a Hurricane is. Two more surge threats lie north and south with the Delaware and Raritan Bays.
