Convergence

I just figured out how to read the shear with the speghetti lines, and how it strengthens and weakens etc.. Time to move on to the next map, are the speghetti lines called isobars?

What is Upper Level Divergence?

I can see what I'm looking at I just don't know what I'm looking at (as not understanding its meaning) So how do these form or inhibit Tropical formation
