need help

500mb heights and "core." "proc." rate for 1957 maps

I dont have those maps but I am bumping this for any member that has what this member is asking.

Given that the data is from 1957, I doubt maps such as these (from 50+ years ago) are available online in an already decoded and displayed format. To me that looks like some sort of reanalysis run through GRADS software.

You might also want to look at the global reanalysis section of NCDC.

I suspect you will need to...

1) Find the datasets in GRIB format, then...
2) Download software (GRADs or other) needed to create and display the fields you want to look at.
