#1 Postby Gustywind » Wed Sep 24, 2008 6:14 pm

Hi everbody, hope you're in shape, because i'm ! :D 8-)
Nothing very exceptionnal in this period my carib friends afterwards...but for the beauty of nature...it seems that the very moist conditions were sufficient to observe a very nice waterspout in Trinidad!!! .
In Guadeloupe we call it in creole : "pichotte" :D  :)... it means a waterspout or trombe in French.
A correspondant from this island has well described this feature...Go to http://stormcarib.com/reports/current/trinidad.shtml

An afternoon thunderstorm produced this waterspout over the Gulf (of Paria) today. This photo was taken from the Fort George hills.
