I was looking for radar data in the Caymans, as I am sure a lot of people are, and ran across this article from 2007. Is it still true....?

Is this still accurate re: Cayman Is. radar?

As long as we're engaging in pipe dreams, here's where I would place doppler radars in order or personal priority (for the weenie in me). YOMV...
*disclaimer: I have no idea about the physical logistics or financial resources for my suggestions. Both are likely to be dubious at best for the ones that are way down on my list. This is all in fun...
1. Grand Cayman (19.3N 81.2W)
2. Great Abaco (26.5N 77.0W)
3. Isla de Margarita, not far off the coast of Eastern Venezuela (11.0N 64.2W)
4. Anguilla (18.2N 63.1W)
5. Tobago (11.2N 60.7W)
6. Great Inagua (21.1N 73.4W)
7. Swan Island, 90 mi N-NE of the Honduran coast (17.3N 83.9W)
8. San Andres Island, about 100 miles east of the central Nicaraguan coast, belongs to Colombia (12.5N 81.7W)
9. Oviedo-Cabo Beata, DR (17.6N 71.4W)
10. Pic Macaya-Port Salut, Haiti. LOL...yeah right. (18.1N 73.9W)
11a. Low Cay on Bajo Neuevo Bank, It has a lighthouse. Let's get crazy and convert it to a radar somehow :-P (15.9N 78.6W)
11b. If 11a can't be done, how about Serranilla Bank? There's some abandoned military facilities there. Why not a radar? :-P (15.9N 79.9W)
Here's a map of what the coverage would look like. Existing radars are green dots/circles. My weenie-induced choices are in red.
