Gulf Low this Weekend?

#1 Postby Ivanhater » Tue Nov 25, 2008 12:15 pm

Well nothing really going on, but the GFS has been persistent on forming a Gulf low this weekend spreading heavy rain across the Gulfcoast. Then looks to ride up the Eastcoast and become a Nor'easter perhaps. Maybe some subtropical development? Doubt it but something to track non the less since I just had knee surgery and cant get around and do anything for a few days :D

I think they are getting their nor'easter early...just heard from a friend that waves off ME are measuring 34 feet, the winds are so hard (and she lives inland) she had to barricade her kitchen door because it kept flying open. Sounds crazy until I looked at the big sat pic where it looks like a hurricane (just said looks like, I don't think it's a hurricane, ok) is swirling up in the north Atlantic...
