Thank You S2K Community

A "Thank You "to everyone for the welcome to the S2K community this season and for helping a guy from Indiana better understand what you'all face each year in and around the coastal areas. This was one heck of a learning experience in a very short time period....especially in Recon. :D

I "thought" I knew tropical systems but I only knew the tip of the iceberg. I now know a little bit about what lies underneath the water of that 'berg' and a lot more to learn in the future!

Time for this Ohio River Valley guy to move over to the Winter Weather Forum...snow in our forecast for this weekend and no I'm not ready for it but....nature says otherwise. :D

I also learned quite a bit this season. I learned something with just about every storm, but a few stick out: Bertha, Dolly, Fay, Ike, and Omar. Each for their own bits of new information. I didnt get to study a few like I would have liked because of school and other things, but I can say I tried. Others I studied for too long (aka Fay  ) . I didnt make as many forecasts as I would have liked (or the quality), but there is plenty of time. A great hurricane season all in all for meteorologists. I wish I could say the same for those in the Caribbean and the GC. I am still praying for all those who were affected. I say thank you to most anyone who made posts in TT/AT this season. Like ai9d said, its now onto the winter weather!
