What happened to the bomb?
Well as expected convection has gone downhill after the wave emerged africa into the water. But still this morning it conserves a good signature with banding taking place. However let's wait as it moves more west to see if it will get favorable conditions as the models haved eluded to.

Yep
It seems that each year dozens and dozens and dozens of such strong disturbances move offshore, only to disintegrate soon after. Give it a few days to see what remains. Note that the 06Z GFS shows a pure fish storm now - not even close to the Caribbean.

Typical Tropics. Remember number one rule - don't get your hopes up on blobs. Anything and everything can look good on satellites - but in reality you have to have something there first to make it an actual tropical system.
I say we have at least 2 more weeks of non-activity before we begin to see something brew.

Yes Ticka it may look like the best wave ever comming out of africa but if it not get favorable conditions in the atlantic POOF.But at least this wave has mantained a good signature and banding is seen with convection mantaining south of 10n although it has diminished north of that latitud.
