National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced the arrival of El Nino, a climate phenomenon with a significant influence on global weather, ocean conditions, and marine fisheries.

That is old as the news broke at 9 AM EDT yesterday and posted at the mother thread for ENSO Updates. :) I posted the bulletin in English and Spanish.

so with the el nino setting up is this resembling the 2004 season in other ways? I am remembering Frances and jeanne without fond memories. :double:
