Weak rotation in the Northeastern GOM

#1 Postby tailgater » Sat Jul 11, 2009 1:07 pm

Looking at Sat loops and sta. plots around the NE GOM. Seems like the WEAK spin coming out of the Atlantic across JAX and is now @ 28.9n 84.3w. I'm sure it's nothing to worry "bout I'm just sayin". Lots of dry air and lots of shear I'm not sure why it's hung on this long but it would be nice if increased cloud cover or chances of rain here(SE LA) and west towards TX.
