But it looks pathetic tonight although still conserves a well defined LLC around 15.5n-56.5w moving 275 degrees west.

I bet they cancel the recon tomorrow. I understand the circulation is still there but until there's some convection I just don't see sending the recon in.

What does the shear map look like? It has a sheared appearance. If not shear then what is causing it to look so oblong. The WV loop looks pretty dry, and the SAL is out there.
