I'm not sure where you are getting the gusts to TS force Drezee.
:? It doesn't show up at the bouy site and I don't see it in the set of data you posted. Am I missing something. I see gusts to 32 mph. That particular buoy isn't close to the area of convection yet either. Loosk to me like all the possibly affected buoys are in the 20-30 kt. range or approaching it, but I don't see any to TS force. I'm sure we will later tonight or in the morning at several of them though.

Peak gust in the past hour was 050°-34 kts David. I saw it at the Penn State buoy site. That is the Molasses Reef c-man station just east of Key Largo. I also noted the current sst at Molasses Reef is 87.4° (30.8°C)....just what the doctor ordered for intensification (and the entire GOM is above 85°F).
