North Of Panama

This is the type of disturbance I hate to make a new thread on because they tend to be gone the next day - however - there's some convection down by Panama in the Caribbean that has hints of development.

If it disappears just let the thread drop.

I think that energy will move into the EPAC, maybe something to watch in that area.

Is there any model support? Might be a threat to Nicaragua and then Belize.

Nice deep convection there but I'd like to see where it goes in the next 24hrs first, could easily center in the EPAC like it seems some of the models suggests.

There's an EPAC wave already formed off this. However sometimes a part breaks off and goes the other direction in the Caribbean.

Yeah like countless convective systems in this part of the basin I doubt anything comes off it...but lets say thats probably a sizeable hint for the latter part of the season, the fact we've had near never ending convection down there and sometimes some systems that tried to develop down there.
