Most people don't care about a big hurricane that's well offshore and is no threat to land. Even a weak to moderate TS near land is far more interesting to most people than a Cat 3-5 way out in the Atlantic. Even if Danielle becomes a major and it probably will, not many people will care about it unless maybe it really ramps up to a Cat 5.

Wow didn't mean to cause controversey. Just a friendly discussion. No matter what the reason you are here, I truly hope everyone has a safe hurricane season.
