East of Florida??
Lots of convection building off the East Central Florida coast along the old frontal boundary that's been dumping heavy showers and T'strms over the peninsula today. Looks to be some low level cloudiness also heading in a westward motion. Any guidance suggesting development off the east coast lately? Haven't had much of a chance to look. Currently have ribs on the grill and don't want to over due them.

Pressures are pretty high (1017-1019MB) and that area is currently in deformation zone between a SERN CONUS mid/upper trough and the deforming/retrograding TUTT low that's over the Greater Antilles and SE Bahamas. There is some suggestion from model guidance that a very weak SFC inverted trough will push westward over FL tomorrow, and the NAM sorta hints at a very weak (10kt-ish) circulation trying to spin up N of the Yucatan Channel WED night/THU. However, (1) It's the NAM on it's own; and (2) It will be on the back side of the TUTT low (a subsident area, hardly a place to look for TC formation) that will be chasing it westward.
I don't see a TC coming out of this area.

all I know is that it needs to get out of here. With the rain from last week (or was it 2 weeks ago??) and all this rain, our pond has now turned into a lake - in other words our house is now surrounded by a moat.
Thank goodness the house is built up!
