In October (possibly late October), between Key West and Tampa (on the west or southwest coast of florida/FL keys)....i.e., a Wilma-like track.
I believe that north of Corpus Christi and west of New Orleans, the season is just about done.
Where and when will the first landfall occur in the U.S.?

Anything that late in the season would be a FL. event. IMO

I agree. I am 99% sure were good for the rest of the season here in New Orleans. Anything that gets into the Gulf around October should go the way Wilma did.

so most of you guys are agreeing that the west gom is pretty much done this season, which is reasonable. i think anywhere from new orleans to new york has the best chance.
