Didn't mean to come across as "grumpy". But if you ask for my opinion, then don't say I can't have that opinion. Just refute my opinion with evidence. We can debate it, that's the point of a forum. There's a lot of pre-development enthusiasm out there. I've been there (in the past). I'm just trying to be as objective as possible.

Here I go repeating myself, but we all bring up things over and over again for discussion. In some way it is the only way to start and to continue discussions and another big thing... not everyone read every post or nearly every post here at Storm2K.

If we are interested in tropical meteorology, we like to have a system develop. There are a lot of favorable factors going for this tropical wave. The only one that is negative; negative that we know of and have discussed about is the dry air to the north.

Knowing that we have low upper level wind shear, very warm sea surface temperatures and it simply being August 20th, going on August 21st. (20 to 21 days until the September 10th peak date)

With that said, there shouldn't be -removed- here. We are observing things coming together for tropical development.

There's not a hint of a circulation on QuickScat according to the latest. We just have to play the wait and see game again! :-)
