They are bullish with the 3 systems so we may be talking about named systems by labor day weekend.

At least they acknowledge it may be a tropical depression later today, and we didn't read the famous words development could be favorable in the next few days. :)

The first one will be the CV wave that later today will be TD#10.

The wave in the mid atlantic 93L is forming a surface low but a fish system.

The third one is north of Hispanola that is the most concern because it is the most close to home.

I like it when they say "may form later today"...which translated, means "already is...but since it is so far out...we can wait to see if it holds together for another 12 horus."

LOL! It does look to me like the 2 farthest east systems will be TD's and/or TS's within the next 24 hours. Or should I say, the NHC will actually acknowledge them as such within the next 24 hours.

AFM how did you get your hands on their official "lingo" book and definitions??? :?:      Indeed, unless something really unusual happens today NHC should be calling TD#10(which imo exists now) anytime today. The system is quite well defined and has great outflow channels set up. Increasing convection should wrap the center more today and "push it over the brink".

Having a tropical depression, tropical storm or hurricane on Labor Day, itself or during Labor Weekend is pretty common, considering.
