Tonight's ECMWF: 3 big ones coming up.

Have have Fabian, the storm-to-be in the GOM, and another CV storm to follow similarly to Fabian. We'll see !

Kinda looks to me like someone someone could decorate their VW bug with.

Seriously, I see the US down at the botto of the image. But what the heck else are we looking at?

You're looking at a Northern Hemispheric view of our dear world. :D

Overlaid, are the forecasted 500 millibar geopotential height contours and surface pressures marked by the white lines. See the storms in the Atlantic?

I see two storms way out in the Atlantic. Only thing I see in the GOM is on Day 3 and it's near the TX/MX border, which is fine with me. I hope it never develops.
