A "weak" Tropical Storm Grace is likely later this afternoon. I emphasize "weak" and have to chuckle though as the rainfall is the main threat and Houston/Galveston NWS is saying anywhere from 6-10" of rain. This of course depends on the track, speed, etc..etc..

Yes the biggest threat from Grace to be will be the copious amounts of rain but not like a Allison type hopefully not like that event.

Cool! ;) Now we'll have two storms to watch! ;) Anyone in the path of Grace needs to get prepared for very heavy rains! :o

Definitely note that #11 is nearing Tropical Storm strength ... but also note, this system is moving NW at 12 mph ... this doesn't appear to be too much of a problem as the system shouldn't decide to take up residence like Allison did two years ago.

This could turn out to be a beneficial storm for Texas.
