Who is wxman57?

#1 Postby hurricanebuoy » Fri Sep 09, 2011 2:04 pm

He seems to be extremely respected on here and I know he is from Houston area? Anyone know who he is or what channel he is on in H-Town? Like to support the home boys and he seems one of the best.

Yeah, wxman57 knows his stuff for sure. For the most part his analysis during the hurricane season thus far has been very good. I respect wxman57, and several others who contribute to Storm2K.

wxman57 is very good, usually what he says is spot on. Just a few days back he didn't buy the Nate models where it showed him going north but now, as he said, it's going west into Mex. Many others, myself included were starting to believe those model runs. Pro mets like wxman and others are one of the reasons this site is so valuable! I give credit where credit id due, way to go wxman! 8-)

For the most part he is good, a little conservative at times which proves him more right than wrong, but sorry that his forecast last month of a pattern change for Texas during September has not materialized yet :( unless he changed his mind recently, I have not been in this site in the last couple of weeks or so.

I've given up on Texas. It's never going to rain again. Now I have no water at the house and can't get through to the City of Houston to report it.

Well at least you have a fan base.

Although I'm sure you'd rather have water.

Sorry to hear that.
Ah, and thanks for taking your time to post on this site, they are like a free continuing education posts!

But don't give up on getting rain, if the dessert SW gets rain once or twice a year, I don't see why not Houston ;)

As much as I would like to disagree with wxman and "wishcast" Texas to get some sort of "weather event" - if wxman57 makes a post, I read it and convey it to my friends that do not read this site. I always pay attention to what he has to say!!!

That stinks. I hope you can get through and get your water back on.

Wow, sounds like an incredible situation. There must be so many people using the 311 service that it's near impossible to get through. How long has your water been off for?

The Cockroach Ridge of Death needs to go with cans of RAID and plenty of them.
