Is there room for another swimmer in this pool?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Is there room for another swimmer in this pool?

#1 Postby scogor » Wed Sep 03, 2003 6:55 pm

All this fancy stuff is too much for me but I'm sure you all can help me blunder through it. I usually lurk more than post, anyway. Great day to have to discover the wild world of storm2k...left the office for an hour or so and returned to find us under a TS warning. Dixie, looks like the next day or two will be a bit wet for us on the west coast of FLA!! So how will I learn to use the emoticons, etc??

Scogor, I've hardly had a chance to catch up on the weather 'cause I've been trying to figure out all the "fancy" stuff -- :D Notice the AVN model has Henri sailing across our roof -- oh well.......

Hi Scogor...welcome to Storm2k. I am from Sarasota originally. My parents still live there off of Bee Ridge east of 75. They have said for weeks now that there is just standing water everywhere. This is the last thing you guys need!

Hurricane season is the only time I can say I miss living in FL. Elena churned off the coast when I was a teen and I have been hooked ever since!

Anyhow, nice to see a Sarasotan on here!
