Hi Dixie! I'm about 60 mi. west of Cedar Key. Just before the sun went down this evening, I could see a big black swirl just to my west. Guessing that's you. Last I heard the storm is heading right through Cedar Key and across Gainesville. Makes for a nasty drive to and from work! Thought about going over to Cedar Key tomorrow afternoon and watching the Gulf churn up like the Atlantic! the only time you can surf on the Gulf!
anyway, we'll see how nasty it gets before we head over there. Glad to find some names I know over here! went to the other board earlier and everybody's gone! and now, you can't even access it at all. Down for maitenance. Anyway, stay safe over there. I can hear thunder to my west now...it's coming!

No doubt about it! I couldn't even get on that board tonight, and earlier when I could it seemed even slower than usual. So although I haven't posted much on either board this year, I'm jumping ship too.
Hi Dixie, Ticka, Cyloneye, PTracker, and everyone else. I hope those of you near Henri-to-be stay snug and dry for the next few days.
Although I don't wish harm on anybody, I'm glad that New Orleans seems to be spared so far this season, except for T.S. Bill and some non-tropical flooding. Last year, Isidore and Lili back to back just about turned my hair white since I had been in my new home only a couple of weeks at the time.

Dixie good too be on the same page again.
Not to worry much on little Henri, but a good fire drill.(I Hope) Appears the CV is good for maybe two more players at most.(Fish Historically) Focus on Gulf and SW Carr. in this Camp. Warm coils make soup boil. (especially when the shear will be prevalent every place else) From the old" Canefisher"
